In February, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson (R) signed the first abortion restriction of the year, a measure banning the use of telemedicine for the provision of medication abortion. When this new law goes into effect later this year, Arkansas will join 16 other states with bans on telemedicine for medication abortion.
